TED events are local gatherings in which TED-like speakers share inspirational concepts, ideas, and perspectives in the forms of a talk. TEDx events are planned completely independently by the community in which they take place and operate under a license. Talks given at TEDSaintFrancisHS's event will be posted on the TEDx Talks Youtube account, which has nearly 30 million subscribers. The board itself consists of three co- directors and groups of specialized speaker, technology, publicity, hospitality, and crew board members. The board works collaboratively to select speakers, help speakers formulate and edit their speeches, and make sure that the event runs smoothly. Being on the board fosters a close-knit community and collaborative atmosphere. To learn more about our board, please view our Board page.
