Co-Director
Aarav Sontakke is a senior at Saint Francis High School. He enjoys astronomy and stargazing, as well as exploring the woods near his home and going to live concerts. He likes reading books and listening to experimental music, especially Bjork. Two years ago, he gave a Ted talk on the intersection between astronomy and nihilism.

Anna Fazioli is a senior at Saint Francis High School. Outside of TEDxSaintFrancisHS she is a part of the water polo and swim team, SF Thrive, ADC, and Sister Goods Bay Area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and eating with her family and friends. She loves to work with people, and hopes this year she can push TEDxSaintFrancisHS to reach its fullest potential. She hopes that TEDx will inspire the audience to engage in meaningful conversations and is so proud of everyone’s hard work!

Riley Clarke is a senior at Saint Francis High School. He enjoys running and traveling, and is ASB Spirit Commissioner. Through his roles inside and outside the Saint Francis community he’s developed a passion for leadership and visioning. Last year he gave a TED talk on eating disorders in the LGBTQ+ community and hopes to inspire other students to share their stories and passions this year.

Tenley Flahavan is a senior at Saint Francis High School. In addition to TEDxSaintFrancisHS, Tenley loves to be involved on campus! Her favorite activities include Fellowship Board, Ocean Club Board, Mercedes Academic Council, and Varsity Field Hockey. Outside of her school community, Tenley volunteers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, participates in National Charity League, and works at State of Mind in Downtown Los Altos. In her free time, she loves adventuring with her sister, going to the beach, and painting. Tenley is looking forward to her 3rd and final year of TEDx, in which she is eager to cultivate a supportive, productive, and fun environment so that the TEDx family can create lasting memories together.

Atharv Joshi is a senior at Saint Francis High School. Apart from TEDx, he participates in the Programming and Financial Literacy clubs. Outside of school, he enjoys going on long bike rides and exploring the city. He plays sports with his little brother and binge-watches TV shows in his free time. He is passionate about the intersection between technology and finance. Atharv joined TEDx last year as a speaker to raise awareness about the lack of financial literacy. He is excited to work with the new speakers and help them give great talks.

Keira Schultz is a junior at Saint Francis High School. She is currently in her 9th year of club soccer, and loves to read rom-com books. She spends her time watching sports, especially Formula 1, and watching old movies. In school, she is a part of Canon Crew, Banner Brigade, Spirit Commision, and played on JV soccer. Keira gave a talk in her freshman year about learning to accept her identity as an adopted child. She aims to help TEDx speakers feel comfortable sharing their stories, and include all of our Saint Francis community in celebrating unique ideas.

Grace Coyle is a senior at St.Francis High School in Mountain View, California. She enjoys the outdoors, surfing, basketball, and being surrounded by the people she loves. Grace thrives off of her outgoingness and extroversion and loves exploring new places and experiencing new things. This is Grace’s third year on TedX and is excited to help mentor the speakers. Last year, she gave a talk titled “Giving Yourself Grace”, which focused on the toxic standards individuals hold themselves to when dealing with circumstances that are uncontrollable.

Elle Najarian
Elle Najarian is a Senior at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, going to concerts, and watching the sunset. At school, she is a member of the girls varsity water polo team. She also is the founder and student leader of the Middle Eastern Student Union affinity group where she has been able to use her passion for leadership and her Armenian culture in bringing the club to life. With an outgoing and extroverted spirit, Elle has found joy in connecting with people and has developed the desire to learn psychology and the study of human minds. Her academic fondness is in parallel to these experiences as she is heavily interested in neuroscience. Last year she combined both her experiences of sleep throughout her life and the psychology behind it by giving a TEDx on how to sufficiently get a good night’s rest.

Miguel Malicse is a junior at Saint Francis High School. Outside of TedX, he loves the sport of wrestling and boxing. In his free time, he enjoys cooking steak. He claims that he makes “the best steak” in the Bay Area. In last year’s TedX event, Miguel spoke about the balance of life and the yin yang symbol within us all. This year, he hopes to create meaningful relationships with the speakers and help them to share their stories and ideas.

Aanya Remi is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School and is very passionate about being involved in the school community. Being a social butterfly, she is a part of Speech and Debate, Board Buddies, Girl Scouts, and Student Moreau Board. Additionally, she plays the flute, and does marching band in school as well. Aanya likes to watch TV shows and read books that are in the romance murder genre along with listening to The Weekend or Rihanna. Some of her hobbies include baking, shopping, and spending time with her little sister. Aanya is over the moon to be a part of TEDxSaintFrancis this year, and can’t wait to make an impact in the school.

Saanvi Juneja is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School. Outside of TEDxSaintFrancisHS, she is a part of SFHS choir, SASA, IFSA, and Lancer Hacks. Outside of school, Saanvi plays piano, and is a Life Scout in her scouts troop. In her free time, she loves volunteering, playing with her dog, hiking and reading. This year, she’s super excited to create a welcoming and supportive environment, and learn about other people’s ideas and stories.

Trisha Kakade is a junior at Saint Francis High School who is passionate about trying new things and learning about worker’s rights. At school, she is part of speech, debate, Bring Change to Mind, and South Asian Student Association. Trisha has been doing Kathak for 8 years and likes to read non fiction books, listen to music, and spend time with her family. This year on TEDxSaintFrancisHS, she is excited to meet new people and learn about diverse ideas.

Cate Blong is a junior at Saint Francis High School. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and going to concerts (Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, Madison Beer, etc.). With friends and family, Cate enjoys playing pickleball and spikeball. Aside from TEDX, she participates on the Saint Francis track team in the spring. As a part of the hospitality team, Cate is excited to create an environment where people are excited and supported to share their stories.

Izzy Enerio is a senior at Saint Francis High School. For the past three years, she has been part of the tennis team. She is on the executive leadership board for the Filipino-American Student Union, Model UN, and SF Thrive. Outside of Saint Francis, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling. As a part of the publicity team, Izzy hopes to create an environment where people can share their ideas and stories. She is excited to be a part of TEDx and have an amazing event!

Tanisha Arora is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School. In addition to being on the JV golf team, she enjoys creating artwork for Pathoscribe, a website that shares content to promote medical awareness. During her free time she likes to read books, listen to music, and play the ukulele. She also spends time advocating for causes such as pediatric cancer through a non-profit called Kids y Cancer. This year, she is excited to be a part of the hospitality board on TEDX.

Sean Reynolds is a senior at Saint Francis High School and is excited to be in his third year with TEDx. In addition to his involvement with TEDx, he’s a member of both the Varsity Cheer Team and the Varsity Diving Team. Additionally, you can find him leading the students in the Rage Cage! Outside of school, Sean enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, photography, and exploring nature. This year, he's focused on expanding TEDx's reach beyond the Saint Francis community to attract a broader audience and share the messages of the speakers with even more people.

Laya Vinay is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School. She is a part of a dance team outside of school, MKC, and loves exploring nature, especially Yosemite. She loves to read in her free time, as well as loves to watch TV, particularly Criminal Minds. Listening to music is another one of her favorite hobbies, her favorite artists being Lana Del Ray and Frank Ocean. She is a part of the Track and Field team and involved in the Speech and Debate team at Saint Francis. Laya loves to spend time with her family and her puppy, Apollo, and is super excited to be a part of the TEDxSaintFrancisHS board this year!

Sydney Chua is a senior at Saint Francis High School. She does design and photography for yearbook and founded the Building & Design Club. Outside of school, she loves playing soccer, crocheting, and thrifting. On her free time, she also enjoys trying new hobbies and spending time with friends (and her tortoise). Sydney is super excited to hear new ideas and contribute to creating an inspiring TEDx event!

Rishabh Anand is a junior at Saint Francis High School. His hobbies include cooking, graphic design, and photography. He also likes to hang out with friends. At school, he looks over sports photography for yearbook and is the president and founder of the Youth Philanthropy Club. He also plays basketball for school and outside of school, and he has been playing basketball since 4th grade. He hopes to find the solution to climate change one day.

Chloe Shin is a senior at Saint Francis High School. Apart from TedxSaintFrancisHS, she is part of the Yearbook Club, Engineering Club, Builders Club, and The Lancer Newspaper. While away from school, she plays viola in orchestra and makes art with various materials. Chloe hopes that her contribution to the event will bring out the joy in others. She can’t wait to hear all the ideas and stories the speakers will share!
