What is TEDxSaintFrancisHS?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSaintFrancisHS, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSaintFrancisHS event, live Saint Francis student speakers will share their stories to spark connections and discussions. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized and limited to student speakers.

Saint Francis High School is a Melting Pot of Students and Their Personalities, Interests, and Talents

As a student body, we’re very proud of who we are and cherish the opportunity to share the variety of experiences we have as an opportunity for growth and connection. As a result, our event is entirely student-run and features only SFHS student speakers. We provide a platform for our peers and empower them to share their voices with the community, both within Saint Francis and beyond. We began as a homegrown event, SF Talks, in 2018, and after two very successful years, we are proud to officially be a TEDx event.
